Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Star Hi Herbs. This role will focus on optimizing our supply chain operations, from raw material procurement to finished product distribution. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management within the natural products or pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with raw material suppliers and evaluate new sources
• Coordinate logistics for domestic and international shipments
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams on material planning
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation
• Analyze supply chain metrics and prepare performance reports
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations
• Knowledge of international shipping and import/export procedures
• Experience with inventory management and demand planning
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP and quality requirements for raw materials
• Experience with supplier qualification and auditing
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for natural products
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
