Senior Quality Control Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Analyst to join our team at Star Hi Herbs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analytical testing of herbal extracts and natural products. This role involves ensuring all our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and other analytical techniques
• Develop and validate analytical methods for new products
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation of all test results
• Troubleshoot analytical issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to ensure quality standards are met
• Train and mentor junior analysts in laboratory procedures and techniques
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in quality control laboratory, preferably in herbal/natural products industry
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 9001, and other quality management systems
• Experience with method development and validation
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of analytical chemistry and instrumentation
• Experience with quality control in herbal extracts or natural products
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for dietary supplements and food ingredients
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
